A journey through semiconductors, transistors, logic gates, combinational circuits, sequential circuits, logical devices, flip flops, ALUs, finite state machines, processors, assembly language and Verilog.
Students learn how to use a breadboard, strip wires, connect 7400-series chips, and use Verilog to program an Intel/Altera FPGA with a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9.
