What I do

• the decoding of error-correcting codes (click for a demonstration), and
• machine learning (eg, language modelling, blind signal decomposition).
• We are also developing a human-computer interface (Dasher) that is driven by a single finger or by gaze-tracking.
• I've also dabbled in quite a few other fields, which are listed in my publications area
