TTC Route Table Generator

(this site is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by the Toronto Transit Commission nor any other organization)

Do you hate using the TTC website to look up schedules? It's fine for finding out when the next bus is supposed to arrive at a particular stop, but if you have to be somewhere at a certain time, it's nearly impossible to figure out when to leave.

Well I've had enough. No more will I crawl through the times trying to match up busses to try to figure out how long it will take to get there. I wrote a simple little script to automatically parse the TTC schedules and convert it to tabular form.

Simply find your stop(s), find the column with the time you need to arrive/leave, and follow the column to find out how long the trip should be. Each column corresponds to a single bus making stops. The letter at the top of the column is the branch on the route.

There are also handy links direct to the official TTC schedules and maps to verify your trip. Hopefully this will make your (and my) life somewhat easier!

Don't know which route you want? Try the Toronto transit map (built by Ian Stevens on Google Maps).

New feature: now reports times in 24-hour format, so it's easy to tell if it's a morning or evening bus! Unfortunately, strange FS schedules can still disrupt the route finding algorithm.

New feature: if your browser supports CSS, click a stop name to highlight that line in the table! Click again to turn off the highlight.
