As of November 2005 I am no longer a graduate student at the University of Toronto. My new email address is kaloianm@gmail.com

Hello and welcome to my UofT home page!

As the logo above says, I am graduate student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto. I started my graduate studies in the Winter term of 2004. My research interests are mainly in the area of Computer Systems. To narrow it down, I am particularly interested in Parallel and Distributed Systems, Database Systems, and Transaction Processing and Recovery. My supervisor is Prof. Cristiana Amza.

Before coming to UofT, I obtained my Bachelor of Computer Science degree in October, 2003 from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (aka FMI) at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
