The reasons for the plus in Allan₊

• First, it says thank you to the wonderful soul who gave me the gift of her kidney on Nov. 26, 2008.



• Second, I hope it raises awareness of organ donation. It can be a gift of life.



• Third, it is a reminder that I am immune compromised. Both you and I need to take all reasonable care to avoid contact when one of us is sick.



• Finally, of course, I am now a significant revision of the old "Allan".
