Ramp-Up Sessions

Two FREE one day workshops will be provided by the CS department to help get you up to speed in Java (namely up to the level required at the beginning of CSC148). Both days will cover similar material, feel free to attend either one.

The workshops are intended for people who have not taken CSC108, but have done some object oriented programing (for example, they should know how to define a class and a subclass). However, if you have taken CSC108 and think you just need a refresher, you are also welcome to attend.

The ramp up sessions are Sat. Sept. 15 and Sat. Sept. 22, both 10am to 5pm, and both beginning in room BA 1210. The sessions will move to a CDF lab in the afternoon for hands-on work.

Please email 148workshop@cs.toronto.edu to register for one or both of these workshops.

Computing Disciplines Facilities (CDF)

Directions for how to get started on CDF are given in the next section below.
