Assignments 4 assignments, totaling 40% of final mark.
Only a selected subset of assignment questions will be marked.
Midterm 20% of final mark.
Final Exam 40% of final mark.
To pass this course you must get 35% or better on the final exam.

Late Policy and Remarking Requests

No late homework will be accepted.

If you miss an assignment deadline due to a medical or other emergency contact your instructor as soon as possible. If we consider it to be a valid emergency, then we will use your average assignment mark for your missed assignment. In this case you must provide your instructor with a completed Special Consideration Form (see forms).

If you miss the midterm due to an emergency, contact the course instructor as soon as possible. We will use your final exam mark for the missed midterm mark. Again you must provide your instructor with a completed Special Consideration Form (see forms).

If there is a simple addition error on a marked piece of work, bring it to your instructor. Otherwise, if you wish it to be remarked, you must fill in a Remark Request Form (see forms).

Policy on Collaboration

Read the advice page on academic offences.
