More about me at my blog and at my many homes on the web, which I list below.

Research Interests

Simplifying, I study two things. The first is communication and coordination in software teams, with an emphasis on how they differ depending on the size of the team and of its firm. The second goes one level higher: I study the efficacy and the convenience of the paradigms that our community uses, sometimes inadvertently, to research these same topics.

Teaching and TA'ing

In the Winter 2009 term I am a TA for CSC301 and CSC302. Before that, I've been a teaching assistant so many times and of so many courses that I've lost count. Also, during the Winter 2007 term I lectured the course ECE450 - Software Engineering II.

Other Interests

I love to play boardgames, to juggle, to jog, to read, to write, to travel with Val, to work in the theatre (though I haven't done it in years), to cook Mexican spicy salsas, to learn to play the guitar, and to make our cat purr.

Check me out and get in touch with me at any or all of these:
I last remembered to update this website on January 20, 2009.
