CSC 364H1Y - Summer 2004
Regrade Policy
Before submitting a regrade request, it is important that you first read
the grading scheme and comments for that term work.
To submit a piece of term work for regrade, please follow the following
procedure:
Please note the following rules concerning regrading.
- Regrades are only given for the following reasons:
- A completely correct answer which was marked as incorrect.
- Scores that were incorrectly tallied.
- An answer which deserved a higher mark based on the posted grading
scheme.
You must justify your regrade request.
A regrade request which does not have a proper justification
or does not meet one of the above criteria may result in up to a
10% deduction on the grade of the entire work.
- Even with a proper justification, a regrade may result in a lower grade if other
previously unnoticed errors are discovered.
- You have two weeks following the date an assignment is returned to
class to request a regrade.
- Regardless of the above deadline, all regrade requests must be submitted
before the date of the final exam.
Be certain to read the
course policy on academic honesty. Part of the
policy refers to regrading.
