I am a master student at University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies. Before this, I finished my undergraduate degrees at University of Toronto in Computer Science, and Statistics. I am interested in robotics, artificial intelligence and data science. I'm also interested in exploring new machine learning algorithms and statistical models, especially the ones that are scalable and interpretable.
Currently my thesis project is to develop robust planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles doing vision-based navigation in outdoor, unstructured environments over long periods of time. The photo on the left is the mobile robot that I'm working with everyday.
