CSC 236H: "Introduction to the Theory of Computation"

Grading Scheme

Best 4 out of 5 Assignments: 30% (7.5% each)
Best 4 out of 5 Quizzes: 10% (2.5% each)
1 Midterm Test: 15%
1 Final Examination: 45%

In order to pass the course, you must achieve a mark of at least 40% on the final examination. In other words, you will automatically fail the course (your final mark will be lowered to no more than 45) if your mark on the final exam is below 40%, irrespective of your computed final mark.
