Format, Tiebreakers

There are 2 participating teams in Voyageurs Cup 2007: Montreal Impact and Vancouver Whitecaps. The two teams play two matches against each other: 1 home and 1 away. Both matches are drawn from the 2007 United Soccer Leagues First Division (USL D1) regular season.

In each match, 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 point is awarded for a draw, and 0 points are awarded for a loss. The two teams are ranked according to the total number of points obtained in both Voyageurs Cup 2007 matches. If the two teams are tied on points then they are ranked by applying the following tiebreakers:

  1. Total number of goals scored in both Voyageurs Cup 2007 matches.
  2. Total number of away goals scored in both Voyageurs Cup 2007 matches.
  3. Additional tiebreakers to be determined.
The team ranked highest after all matches have been played is the Voyageurs Cup 2007 title winner.

WOMEN'S VOYAGEURS CUP EAST 2007
Format, Tiebreakers

There are 4 participating teams in Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007: Hamilton Avalanche, Laval Comets, Ottawa Fury and Toronto Lynx. Each team plays 2 matches (1 home, 1 away) against each other team, for a total of 6 matches (3 home, 3 away) per team and 12 matches overall. All of these matches are drawn from the 2007 United Soccer Leagues (USL) W-League regular season.

In each match, 3 points are awarded for a win (even if it comes in extra time), 1 point is awarded for a draw, and 0 points are awarded for a loss (even if it comes in extra time). The four teams are ranked according to the total number of points obtained in all Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches. If two or more teams are tied on points then they are ranked relative to each other by applying the following tiebreakers (if three or more teams are tied and a tiebreaker separates some but not all of them, then this procedure is reapplied, starting with the first tiebreaker, to the teams that remain tied):

  1. Number of points obtained in the Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches between the tied teams.
  2. Goal difference in the Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches between the tied teams.
  3. Number of goals scored in the Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches between the tied teams.
  4. Number of away goals scored in the Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches between the tied teams.
  5. Goal difference in all Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches.
  6. Number of goals scored in all Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches.
  7. Number of away goals scored in all Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 matches.
  8. Number of points obtained in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.
  9. Goal difference in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.
  10. Number of goals scored in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.
  11. Number of away goals scored in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.

WOMEN'S VOYAGEURS CUP WEST 2007
Format, Tiebreakers

There are 2 participating teams in Women's Voyageurs Cup West 2007: London Gryphons and Vancouver Whitecaps. The two teams are ranked according to the total number of points obtained in all 2007 United Soccer Leagues (USL) W-League regular season matches. If the two teams are tied on points then they are ranked by applying the following tiebreakers:

  1. Goal difference in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.
  2. Number of goals scored in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.
  3. Number of away goals scored in all 2007 USL W-League regular season matches.
The team ranked highest after all matches have been played is the Women's Voyageurs Cup West 2007 title winner.

WOMEN'S VOYAGEURS SUPER CUP 2007
Format, Tiebreakers

If a United Soccer Leagues (USL) W-League playoff match is played between the winner of Women's Voyageurs Cup East 2007 and the winner of Women's Voyageurs Cup West 2007, then the winner of that match, following any necessary tiebreakers as applied by the USL W-League (ie. extra time, penalty kick shootout), is the Women's Voyageurs Super Cup 2007 title winner. (If no such USL W-League playoff match is played, then the Women's Voyageurs Super Cup 2007 title will not be awarded to any team.)
