About Me

I am originally from Romania, a country with scenic mountains and seaside in the eastern Europe. I was born in Bucharest, where I lived until almost the end of the MSc. studies. I later went abroad and studied in England, U.S. and  France, where I eventually got my doctorate. I spent the next two years (2003-2004) in Toronto, Canada.

I like sports, mostly skiing, tennis and hiking, but also cycling, listening to classical and rock music and wandering through literature and sometimes abstract philosophical writings. I am running milder these days, though.
