Tutors Hours Aug 4th-6th

Project Extended Due Date

The absolute deadline for the project is Friday of next week. Anything handed in after 5:00 on Friday will receive a zero. You can put your assignment in the 'late assignments for csc108' box on the second floor of SF, left of the elevators. Making sure that the printout is timestamped by PJA of course. Don't forget to include your labeled disk.

Unofficial Examination Timetable

Arts and Science Examination TimeTable

From the system administrator of the CDFPC lab.

For Your Information: 148 and 104 both have their last assignment due Aug 6, and 108 on Aug 5. Aug 3 is a holiday. There is a possibility that 35 nine to twelve year olds will be using the lab on the morning of Aug 4. ( trying to discourage them )

My long range forecast is for crowded conditions that week, printer breakdowns, and probably an air conditioning failure (per Murphy's law). I suggest you strongly encourage your students to complete their assignments early.

Solution to Assignment 2

Extension for Assignment 3

I have extended the deadline for assignment 3 as follows.

You can hand it in:

before 5:00 Friday, July 17 WITHOUT PENALTY.
before 5:00 Monday, July 20 - minus 20 %
before 5:00 Tuesday,July 21 - minus 30 %

No assignments will be accepted after that.

For late assignments, use PJA for the timestamp and put them in the

CSC108H

late assignment box on the second floor of Sanford Fleming left of the elevators in the alcove leading the the bridge to the Pratt building.

Additional Tutor hours

There will be a TA at the Sigmund Samuel (Gerstein Science) library, computer site for one hour at these times:

Next week

Due to Canada day the university is closed next Wednesday. This means the library is closed, the buildings are closed and there is no lecture. Next week only Instructor's Office hours (Sandford Fleming 2304A) are Tuesday, June 30, 6:00.

When the lab closes...

This is a reminder that students are to leave the library by closing time. This means out the front door by the appointed hour, library staff should not have to goose-step you down the stairs when the clock strikes.

Your cooperation is appreciated.
