Topics in
Software Engineering: Static Analysis of Programs
The course csc2125 will be offered every second year and is intended
to cover recent advances in automated verification. The subject
matter will vary from year to year. In 2004, the course focused on
Automata and Infinite Games in model-checking.
This year, we focus on static analysis of programs, with the goal of covering both classic and
recent advances in this area. Readings will come from parts of the book
Flemming Nielson, Hanne Riis Nielson, Chris Hankin. Principles of
Program Analysis, 2nd edition, 2005. Springer. The book should be
available in UofT bookstore, or ordered from Amazon.ca.
Additional readings come from the recent verification
literature.
