Pre-labs are due on the dates indicated; information about assigned pre-labs can be found lower down on this page.

How do I earn full marks on a prelab?

To earn full marks (1/1) on a prelab you must:

Example 1: If there are 10 exercises, then you must attempt all 10 exercises and get at least 8/10 correct.
Example 2: If there are 3 exercises, then you must attempt all 3 exercises and get all 3/3 correct.

Prelab Exercises

This section contains the pre-lab exercises. Here are the weeks so far:

All campuses: No labs this week, but work on next week's pre-labs: they are due on Monday.
2 Do all of the CodeLab exercises in the categories:
  • WEEK-2
Due January 10, 2005 by 9am.

Note: because of UTSC's later start date, the deadline for UTSC students only is extended until Wednesday, Jan 12, 9:00 a.m.

3 Do all of the CodeLab exercises in:
  • WEEK-3
Due January 17, 2005 by 9am

Note: because of CodeLab access problems, the deadline for St. George and UTM students only is extended until Tuesday, Jan. 18, 9:00 a.m.

4 Do all of the CodeLab exercises in:
  • WEEK-4
Due January 24, 2005 by 9am

Note: Some of these exercises involve "wrapper classes", which are class versions for the primitive types. You can read about them in ProgramLive on Lesson Page 5-1. If you have questions about wrapper classes feel free to post them to the bulletin board. For one of the questions, you may need to look up the java.io.File constructor in the Java APIs.
