Due: January 30, 2003


Every student should submit a topic proposal by January 30 in tutorial.
Included in this proposal should be a list of what the intended sources
will be (*specific* books, journals, websites) and enough information to
convince the instructor and teaching assistant that the project will have
interest and that it is feasible in terms of your ability to learn and
synthesize the issues and ideas.

Before this date, students undecided about a topic may email the
instructor or teaching assistant regarding possible topics.
