Assignment 5    Due: Thursday, December 5, at start of tutorial

We have been discussing a number of topics thus far including 
several "great ideas". Amongst the ideas discussed thus far,
what would you identify as the "best" idea? Discuss the criteria
for your choice. 

Although it is early, identify some topics (not necessarily
restricted to topics thus far studied in the course) on which
you might want to do your project. Discuss whether or
not you think this will be an easy topic to find authoritative information 
and to understand the relevant technical issues. Indicate why you
think this is an interesting and important topic.  


Your discussion should be approximately two pages long, say one page for
identifying your opinion on the "best idea" so far and one page for your
thoughts for a project.

For each part 30% for the content (i.e. how convincing and informative is the
discussion) and 20% for the organization, clarity and grammatical 
correctness of the writing.
