Theory of Computation" by Vassos Hadzilacos. You need to
buy this!
Grading
Scheme:

Final Exam (35%)
■
Two Term Tests (30%) .... Feb
11th and March 18th.
■
Five Assignments (35%) ....
approximately one every two weeks (1/26, 2/9, 3/4,
3/18,4/1).
Policy on
Special Consideration:
If you are unable to complete a homework in time or show up
for a term test, talk to your instructor
beforehand.
This, of course, has to be due to major illness or
circumstances completely out of your control, and you need
to present documents supporting the fact.
Participation:
Participation is required for this class. You can skip at
most 2 sessions without a doctor's note. Beyond that, you
will be asked to drop the course.
Tutorials are an important part of the course. You should
attend all tutorials.
