26/01 some small corrections are in order. Check out the current version of the assignment please. Here are the points that were changed. * 2(b) We also ask B to be closed and to contain a ball. recall that a body is closed if every point outside of it contains a ball with positive radius that is disjoint from the body. * 5 (a) "find a SEMI metric space". In other words, d(x,y) may be zero even for x different than y. We will usually mean semi-metric sapces unless we say otherwise throught the course (and we wont say otherwise really..) * 5(b) by "can't guarantee good embeddings" we mean with low probability (o(1)) we will get a good embedding.
