Lecture Notes from a Previous Term

Here are some lecture notes that were used by another instructor in a previous term. My lecture notes will be very similar to these, but please note that my lecture material is not identical to this material. If you print these notes in advance, it will probably simplify the note-taking process for you during lectures.

These notes are available in PostScript format only. A PostScript viewer is installed on the CDF-PC computers, or you can download a free Postscript viewer (called Ghostscript) that will allow you to view the lecture notes from home. To download Ghostview for a home PC running Windows 95/98, go to the "MS-Windows" section of the Ghostscript 5.50 download page.
