I am a final year PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at University of Toronto. I am advised by Prof. Ravin Balakrishnan. My research interests are in the area of Human-Computer Interaction. I create novel interaction techniques for mobile, wearables, and immersive technologies using a wide range of techniques including sensing, haptics, signal processing, machine learning, and psychophysics. I am also interested in exploring accessible interactions and technologies for the developing world. Prior to my PhD, I worked on mobile crowdsourcing, health biometrics, and education technology in developing regions. I did this work in collaboration with Dr. Bill Thies and Dr. Ed Cutrell at Microsoft Research India.
I am on the job market this year. My research page is here.
