I am a second year master's degree student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. I am advised by Prof. Ravin Balakrishnan and am working in collaboration with Dr. Bill Thies and Dr. Ed Cutrell for my master's thesis. I spent the summer of 2011 at Microsoft Research India, building and evaluating a low-end mobile crowdsourcing platform. I am a member of the Dynamic Graphics Project (DGP), an interdisciplinary Human-Computer Interaction research lab at the University of Toronto.
My areas of interest are Mobile Computing, Technologies for Emerging Markets and Human-Computer Interaction. Here is a peek at my research projects.
My project mClerk was recently featured on MIT Technology Review. Feel free to drop me a line if you find this stuff interesting!
