Unpatched vulnerability in Adobe Flash now partially fixed
The critical unpatched vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player 10.0.45.2 and earlier versions for all platforms mentioned previously has now been partially addressed by Adobe. Flash Player version 10.1, which does not have this vulnerability, has been released for most platforms (including Windows and Mac), and it is now available from the Adobe Flash Player Download Centre. The version of Flash Player 10.1 released by Adobe for Windows is the same version as the previous release candidate of 10.1 (10.1.53.64), so if you have installed that release candidate, that should be sufficient. Adobe confirms that version 8 and earlier do not possess this vulnerability. However, version 9 is still vulnerable; Adobe promises a patch by June 29th, 2010.
