Adobe has reported that a critical vulnerability exists in current versions of Adobe Flash Player (version 10.1.82.76 and earlier) and Acrobat/Acrobat Reader (version 9.3.4 and earlier), for all platforms. The vulnerability allows an attacker to crash your computer and/or take control of it. Adobe claims that there are reports the flash player vulnerability is being actively exploited on Microsoft Windows. Adobe promises fixes during the week of September 27th, 2010 for Flash player, and during the week of October 4th, 2010 for Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.
