Patch for A New Adobe Acrobat Vulnerability
Adobe has released patches to all shipping versions of Acrobat and Acrobat reader that fix a newly identified vulnerability that would allow an attacker to create a malicious PDF file that, when viewed with Acrobat, could run arbitrary commands as the user viewing the file. Adobe claims that versions 9.1.2, 8.1.6 and 7.1.3 of Acrobat and Acrobat reader contain the fix. Users of previous versions of Acrobat on all platforms are urged to upgrade to one of these versions.
