CSLab Equipment Usage Policies

CSLab maintains a number of discrete networks, which for the most part are easily identified by the colour of cabling used. The networks that we support and run include, but are not limited to:

There are also additional networks that use our networking gear (routers and switches, trunks, etc) but we do not administer; DGP networks for example.

You should never alter the configuration of network cables - including moving them around, plugging things into them, or unplugging them unless you know that the cables are infrastructure that you are responsible for (i.e. a sandbox that you administer machines in). As a general rule, if you are not completely sure of what you are doing regarding network cabling, ask your Point of Contact .
