Description and Location
The BUL Conference Room (BA7256) is located on the 7th floor of the Bahen Building.
This web-page covers the steps required to set up networking for those attending functions
in this room. Please read the following information carefully.

Networking: Activation
Network access in BA7256 is provided through either wired or wireless connectivity.
By default the network in BA7256 is turned off. In order to activate it the
following steps must be followed:
1. All attendees or representatives must request network connectivity by contacting
one of the following individuals. The request should also include the names of
the people requiring access as well as the dates and time.

2. In turn, one of the contact people listed above will contact the BUL
Point-of-Contact
and he or she will let us know when BA7256 is needed. Per our agreement with the BUL we
will not activate the network unless the request is approved by one of the people
authorized above.
3. On the day and times that the room is needed CSLab will turn on the network.
Networking: Connecting
As stated above, network access in BA7256 is provided through either wired or wireless
connectivity. After the network is activated via the process described above, please
follow the appropriate instructions below to connect your computer/computers.
Wired Connectivity
Network connectivity for wired clients is provided by ethernet/patch cable.
Upon entering the room you will see a purple patch cable labelled 'BUL'. Use this cable to lease an IP
via DHCP. The IP address will be in the 192.168.67.0/24 range.
Wireless Connectivity
Wireless connectivity is provided by a wireless Access Point (802.11b).
In order to access the wireless network, you will need to configure your
wireless adapter to use the correct
SSID and WEP key
