Our Third Get-Together

On January 27, 2000, Women in Computer Science (WCS) at U of T held our annual Winter Get-Together. This year the focus was on the recent computer science graduate, and specifically addressed the question "What do people do after they obtain their computer science degree?".

The event featured a panel that included four relatively recent graduates:

They discussed how they found their first job after graduating, what kind of work they do, and what parts of their computer science degree they valued most.

We thank the department of computer science for providing the delicious refreshments, and Ron Baecker for letting us use his digital camera.
