Dimitra Vista's Curriculum Vitae

I received my B.Sc. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Crete, Greece, in 1989, and my Master's degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto in 1992. Since 1992, I have been working on my Ph.D. The research was funded by the Center of Advanced Studies of IBM Canada, the University of Toronto and the Department of Computer Science of the University of Toronto.

As an undergraduate I worked at the FORTH Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation of Research and Technology at Heraklion, Crete, Greece, on two European Community Research Programs: Multos a system for filing and retrieval of multimedia documents, and Ithaca, a system for filing and retrieval of software specifications at various levels of detail. For one year after my graducation I worked as a full time employee at FORTH. At the Universtity of Toronto I was involved with the Hy+ Visualization System.
