Research

I am interested in the theory of distributed computing; particularly, in fault tolerance and synchronisation. In the past I have also worked on database concurrency control.

Here is a list of papers that I have (co-)authored, along with abstracts and, in some cases, postscript versions.

I was editor-in-chief of Distributed Computing (2000-2008), and am now a member of its Editorial Board.
