VPN at
CSLab
First you will need a VPN account. This is different from a cslab
account, although it will have the same username. Please contact me
(Ingrid) to request a VPN account. Be sure to include your cslab
username if emailing me from a non-cslab email address.
VPN for Visitors
There are guest VPN accounts available for short term visitors, please
contact me for a username and password. For long term visitors I
recommend the visitor get their own VPN account, especially if they are
also getting a cslab account.
I will need the following information:
- CSLab usern name if they have one, their name if they don't
- Visitor's contact information (email)
- Arrival and departure dates
Visitor VPN accounts are recycled, but to adhear to cslab policy the
password needs to be reset after each user. Therefor it is vital that I
have a departure date, or am contacted once a visitor leaves so that I
can rest the VPN account.
