Interlinking Usage Neighbourhoods of LinkedMDB.org - A Walkthrough

The following figure shows all the unique interlink usage neighbourhoods in BTC 2011, ordered by decreasing size of instances each describes, as a red line. The graph also shows the number of unique cpo usage neighbourhoods that each interlink neighbourhood captures. Note that there will always be at least as many instances as neighbourhoods (since we consider only non-empty neighbourhoods and each neighbourhood must describe at least one instance). The table below Figure 1 displays the ordered list of visible usage neighbourhoods and the number of instances they contain.
Fig 1 Notes:
  1. Select Example 1 This link will select an example from the dataset that shows a group of instances that have no variation in their interlink usage neighbourhood description.
Select Example 2 This link will select an example from the dataset that shows a group of instances that are each described with a unique interlink usage neighbourhood.
  2. Mouse-over the series line to explore the usage neighbourhood at that point. Mouse over the legend's series colour to highlight the entire series.
  3. Drag the ends of the range slide in order to explore usage neighbourhoods that describe only the specified range of instances.
  4. Type some text into the text filter to explore usage neighbourhoods that contain that text, e.g. type "dbpedia" to view the usage neighbourhoods that involve DBPedia. Click here to explore how linkedmdb.org is interlinked with dbpedia.org.
  5. Controls appearing at the bottom of the table can be used to page through the usage neighbourhoods.
