I am a PhD candidate in the Computational Vision Group, part of Department of Computer Science at University of Toronto. My supervisor is David Fleet. I hold a BSc. in EE and a BSc. in Physics from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. I did my Masters at University of Toronto under David’s supervision.

I’m mainly interested in machine learning and optimization. Specifically in 3D video tracking combined with physical models. In my masters I dealt with extracting attributes, such as gender, weight, happiness and anxiety level from motion capture data and from video tracking.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, canoeing, bike riding, skiing, ice skating, or basically every outdoor/indoor sport activity I find the time to put into. I’m especially enjoying Canada’s amazing nature.
