Late assignments
Due dates for assignments are firm. There will be a 10% deduction for each day of lateness, to a maximum of 7 days; assignments will not be accepted beyond that point. Weekend and holidays count when calculating late days. No work will be accepted beyond April 8, 2005.
Extensions to assignment deadlines will only be granted for documented medical emergencies.
Late assignments should be submitted electronically in the same manner as assignments that are on time. The two hard copies of your assignments must be handed in directly to your instructor. Note: You must arrange a time to submit your late assignment to your instructor and she may not be in every day.
Missed midterm test
If you miss the midterm test, you will get a mark of zero unless you have informed your instructor beforehand and she has agreed that you may miss it. (If you miss the test because of illness or other circumstance completely outside of your control, check our Policy on special consideration for instructions on what to do.)
If your instructor agrees that you may miss the midterm test, there will be no make-up test. Instead, a mark will be computed to replace the missing mark, based on your mark on the final examination.
