ABOUT

Jennifer Campbell is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Jen earned a BSc at the University of Prince Edward Island, and an MMath and a Certificate in University Teaching from the University of Waterloo.

Jen teaches a variety of undergraduate courses and is currently involved in several projects related to Computer Science education. She is exploring factors that contribute to success, and she is also studying the effectiveness of the inverted classroom. She is the co-instructor of two Coursera MOOCs (LTP1 and LTP2) on learning to program in Python. She has also co-authored an introductory textbook on Python programming.

Jen has run several half-marathons and two marathons, including the New York City Marathon. Along with her sons, Jen is working on improving her skating skills and is becoming well-versed in all things related to hockey.
